Octain (Survival PvE)

We're a friendly PvE survival server. As a community, we've been together now for over four years. We've built amazing structures together, designed colossal PVP arenas and used redstone to create the most amazing of games and mob arenas; and we're still going with that blend of near-vanilla gameplay that's kept our players coming back to us. We're running on our own private, dedicated server with 16GB RAM and a processor with 4 cores at 2.8 each, a 2 Terrabyte hard drive and 100mbps. We. Do. Not. Lag. And what to we offer? Tweaked survival play: freebuild, hard mode, infinite world, mob numbers cranked up and with all the protections minecraft should have by default - both your chests and your land is protected and we can rollback damage caused by idiots in a few commands. We play fair and we play hard, we build big and we build strong, and above all, we have fun. (This server is the continuation of the zarkov.net server, the maps, ranks of which we managed to keep with pretty much 0 downtime!)

And of course, levels, which include woodcutting, mining, archery, repairing and much much more. We also have an economy and currency system, run by the infamous iConomy. Our currency "Pawn" is used for many things, from purchasing blocks, to protecting your town, to having an easy to use portal that can be used to travel to your town. Of course, we have even more plugins running and you can find out about commands and how to use stuff on our forum. Server was created in 2011 and ran up until 2015. The server was offline until 2022. Now I have rebuilt the server from the ground up and am excited to share it with the public! We function a bit differently than "Towny" servers. We do not use towny, but rather Grief Defender with the RealEstate addon. This allows for very customizable towns and plots that can be sold, leased, or rented. All plots are protected. To encourage living in a town, raiding is allowed in the wild. Living in towns will have benefits such as local shops, protection from PvP and raiding, and creating friends! Now you may build and live in the wild but you may be raided or killed! Anyone can become a "mayor" and given a special role that can create a town claim and plots. For more details checkout the website or ask in game! Basic rules No cheating / exploits No racism, homophobia, sexism, or any other type of disrespect. No swearing. TownCraft is welcome to members of all ages, profanity is censored. Don't be rude.

As you progress from level 1 on wards you will notice that you have a lot of freedom and choice in the way you can level up. The server has many RPG elements to it but it still gives you that prison feel of using your hard earned money in order to rank up and access that next area. As you level up you will unlock new areas, but first you will need money. There are many ways to make money in Powder 3.0 such as fishing, farming, repeatable quests, slaying monsters for loot and much more! Exploration is the best way to find those rare items and loot, but only the adventurers that are willing to take the risk will take the greatest rewards! Good items such as diamonds aren't devalued as much as you find they are on other prison servers, so finding that rare gem will once again give you that sense of excitement and achievement! PvP is a large part our the server and because of that there is always a risk while exploring areas far away from safe zones. So be careful who you trust and be sure to stock up on armour, weapons and potions! Don't forget plots! Of course we have plots, once you reach level 3 you will be able to purchase a plot from an NPC. You can build whatever you want on your plot, make cosy little home, a large scale farm, a place to show off all the rare items you've collected, a storage place for all your loot, or all of the above and much more! Come online and give it a go! Also, don't forget to leave some feedback, it is always much appreciated so we can continue to improve and grow as a server! :) IP: pow.us.to Website: http://pwc.enjin.com Discord: https://discord.gg/FW99ybm

DawnFire Realms - Somnium

DFR in a nutshell: We aim for serious, mature roleplay survival in a realistic dark fantasy world inspired by the lore of Fall from Heaven II. We have 4 main races with MCMMO and Heroes offering 129 possible tier6 combinations of race dependent combat classes and 3 tier6 professions. For a settlement to be self-sufficient it only needs 3 characters with the tier8 professions: Enchanter, Engineer and Forgemaster! A dedicated plugin set offers a.o.: Towny, a precious things economy and many realism enhancing features. We also have a trusted rank system offering perks for our most dedicated players, who rankup though playing, voting and/or donating. On March 10 we have opened a dream world for all to join called Somnium during alpha. On June 6th we declared beta phase and on September 21st we launched a new and bigger (16k*16k!) carefully selected vanilla seeded map for Somnium. Check out our Live Map @ play.dawnfirerealms.net:8123/# ! Somnium is the world where you all (Souls) can enjoy the experience of our plugin set and the enlightening presence of the other community members, moderators (Guardians) and administrators (Seraphs). All players will start in a spawn town, Astarte, on Somnium. We are creating a huge (32k*32k!) custom designed map for our mortal world Vesperus. That will be whitelisted and requires a dedicated character bio. Whitelisted players (Mortals) wil be allowed to travel there through Nemesis. Somnium will not be disbanded and will remain non-whitelisted and a training ground for both roleplay and survival. Since Somnium launch we have build a decent roleplayer base, we have significantly expanded our staff team and build a decent plugin set that supports realistic immersive roleplay survival. On Sept. 21st we launched a new Somnium Vanilla seeded map of 16k*16k! ... and much of Somnium is still uncolonized (April 13th 2015)! Players that haven't played since before Sept. 21st haven't lost anything. Their characters can stuff their inventories with all their valuables and do /spawn to start in the new Somnium world.
