These terms apply to MinecraftRanking.com (“MinecraftRanking”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What we are
MinecraftRanking is a directory of Minecraft servers. We are not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft, and we do not run the servers we list. Joining a server is between you and that server: its rules, purchases and moderation are its owner's responsibility.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
3. Listing a server
You may only list a server you own or are authorised to promote. You confirm ownership by placing a code in the server's MOTD. Your listing must be accurate and must not contain illegal content, malware, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, or impersonation of another server or brand. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote the name, description, banner, logo and other content you submit, for as long as the listing exists and for a reasonable time afterwards in caches and backups. You can edit or remove your listing at any time.
4. Imported listings
To make the list useful from day one, some listings were created from publicly available server information (name, address, game modes, description, banner and logo) so players can find those servers. Imported listings are marked as unverified until the owner claims them. Owners can claim, edit or remove them at any time, and anyone can ask us to remove one at /takedown.
5. Voting
Each Minecraft username may vote for a server once every 24 hours. Votes must come from real players acting on their own behalf. Buying votes, automating votes, using alternate usernames to multiply votes, or rewarding votes in a way that breaks the Minecraft EULA is not allowed. We may remove votes and listings that we believe are manipulated. Vote rewards are given by the server, not by us.
6. Reviews
Reviews must reflect your own experience. Do not post reviews of your own server, paid reviews, spam, personal data or abuse. We may hide reviews that break these rules. Owners may reply to reviews.
7. Sponsored placements
Some positions are paid or featured placements and are always labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured”. Placements are sold as described on the order or invoice; refunds are at our discretion unless the law requires otherwise. We may refuse or remove a placement that breaks these terms.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attack, scrape at high volume, overload or try to break the site; do not use it to send spam or collect other users' data.
9. Content and intellectual property
Server names, logos, banners and descriptions belong to their owners. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. Our own site design, code and text belong to us. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, use /takedown.
10. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is”. Player counts, uptime and status come from automated pings and may be wrong. We do not guarantee that any listed server is safe, available or honest.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens on a server you found through the site. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the site's operator is established, without prejudice to consumer rights you have where you live.
