TorchlightMC at a glance

TorchlightMC is a long-term survival SMP built for players who want a home within a Vanilla-flavored experience. It runs on Java Edition and reports version 26.2, with cross-play between Java and Bedrock environments and a focus on player-created towns, clans, and cooperative projects rather than seasonal resets. The server emphasizes a PvE-friendly world where builds are protected and progress stays put, thanks to a robust land-claim system and grief prevention features.

Players in TorchlightMC can expect a blend of classic survival game- play with QoL enhancements. Homes, protected graves, vein mining, tree cutting, and player shops help communities grow without compromising the core feel of vanilla Minecraft. Proximity voice chat adds a sense of immersion for teamwork and exploration, while events, build competitions, and a custom Tormentum combat experience provide occasional diversions from daily building and trading.

The server is designed for solo players and groups who want a lasting, communal survival experience. It suits creators who value stability of their builds, towns and clans, and a whitelisted, community-focused environment. By keeping PvP out of normal survival areas and offering a progression system, TorchlightMC aims to reward active participation with conveniences and cosmetic rewards rather than pay-to-win advantages.

To join, players connect via its Java address, and can explore its website for more information and access to the Discord community. The join address is torchlightmc.net. Its platform and crossplay support mean players from different editions can share the same world as they build, trade, and compete in events.

TORCHLIGHTMC

Looking for a Minecraft world you can actually call home?

TorchlightMC is a long-term survival SMP built for players who want the freedom of Minecraft without watching everything they build disappear in the next seasonal reset.

NO WORLD RESETS Build a home, town, farm, or massive project knowing your progress is here to stay.

VANILLA-STYLE SURVIVAL + QoL Torchlight keeps the heart of survival Minecraft while adding features that make playing better — not easier. Homes, player mail, protected graves, teleport requests, vein mining, tree cutting, player shops, cosmetics, and more.

BUILD WITHOUT WORRY GriefPrevention lets you protect your land and builds. PvP is kept out of normal survival areas, so you don't have to worry about someone destroying months of work.

CLANS & COMMUNITY Play alone or create a clan with friends. Torchlight is designed for both solo players and groups who want to become part of a lasting community.

PROXIMITY VOICE CHAT Optional proximity voice chat makes exploring, building, and running into other players feel much more alive.

EVENTS & CHALLENGES Take a break from building with PvP arenas, community events, build competitions, special End battles, and Torchlight's custom Tormentum combat experience.

PLAYTIME PROGRESSION Advance through Torchlight's Roman numeral ranks simply by playing and participating. Higher ranks unlock additional conveniences and rewards.

COSMETICS — NOT PAY-TO-WIN Customize your experience with name styles, cosmetics, capes, and other visual rewards without turning Torchlight into a server where spending money determines who wins.

JAVA + BEDROCK CROSSPLAY Players from Java and Bedrock can play together in the same world.

Whether you want to build quietly, explore with friends, create a clan, compete in events, or simply find a survival server that won't erase your work six months from now, there's a place for you here.
