onepointeight Minecraft server

OnePointEight is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on a classic 1.8 experience. It offers survival and PvP in a vanilla vanilla SMP setting, with Towny as a featured gameplay element to manage towns and player-made communities. The server runs with ViaVersion support, allowing players from versions 1.8 through 1.26.3 to connect and play together.

Players on OnePointEight engage in standard survival activities—exploring, building, farming, and combat—while also participating in town-building and territory management via Towny. The 1.8 combat balance and familiar mechanics appeal to players who want the “good old” feel of Minecraft, backed by a stable 1.8-era experience.

The server is based in Australia and supports Java Edition players, with ongoing community activity including a Discord presence. It is accessible through a dedicated join address that should be entered exactly as shown: play.onepointeight.online. Those who want to learn more about the server or join the community can explore its website or its Discord for updates, events, and player discussions.
