Friendly SMP at a glance

Friendly SMP is a Java Edition survival server that leans into a calm, community-focused Minecraft experience. Described as Vanilla with a light plugin set, the server emphasizes simple, stress-free gameplay where players can build, explore, trade, and chat in a friendly environment.

Players on Friendly SMP engage in traditional survival activities—constructing bases, gathering resources, and interacting with others through a lightweight economy and chest protection features. The inclusion of shops and voice chat helps facilitate trades and communication without complicated systems, while rules keep griefing and toxicity out. This makes it suitable for players who want a relaxed survival experience with room for socializing and collaboration rather than high-stakes PvP or mods.

The server targets Java Edition players and notes Sweden as its country/region, with a clear invitation to join via its join address. Its community presence extends to a Discord server for questions, updates, and support, signaling an active, chatty player base outside the game. If you’re seeking a calm, beginner-friendly survival world to play at your own pace, this server fits that niche. Those ready to start can connect using friendlysmp.playmc.cloud; its website hosts the official information and access to its Discord community.
