RUINS Semi-Hardcore at a glance

RUINS Semi-Hardcore is a lore-driven Java Minecraft server focused on high-stakes survival and player-created history. It features Anarchy, Hardcore, Survival, and Vanilla play styles, with a world designed to evolve through wars, alliances, and political drama. The server aims to build a living narrative where events like country-building and betrayals become part of the shared lore, and where dying carries lasting consequences via the revive system that currently happens every Saturday.

Players inhabit a lore-rich world where death matters: when you die, you’re banned until the next revive, which occurs on Saturdays. The current cycle means a ban can last about a week, and the world is designed to respond to major events that can reshape its history. The server’s world border stands at 20,000 x 20,000 and The End is closed, with plans to expand the border and eventually reopen The End as the server grows, along with other world-changing events.

RUINS runs on Java Edition, with version 26.3 listed among its platform and version details. It is located in the United States and has a Discord community for updates, lore discussions, and events. Joining the server is straightforward: Join at 149.56.19.231:25594. Its website and its Discord host the ongoing updates and lore discussions that accompany in-game events.

In the server's own words

RUINS Semi-Hardcore RUINS is a lore-based semi-hardcore Minecraft server where dying actually matters. When you die, you're banned until the next revive. Right now, revives are every Saturday, meaning you'll currently be out for about a week if you die. That could change as the server grows, though. The server is meant to have an actual history that develops as people play. There'll be wars, battles, alliances, rivalries, and other events that come from the players themselves. If someone starts a country, goes to war, betrays their allies, or does something that completely changes the server, that becomes part of the lore. The World Right now, the world border is 20,000 x 20,000, and The End is closed. Neither of those things will stay that way forever. The border will expand during major events, and eventually The End will open. There will also be server events that can affect the world and its history, so the server should actually feel like it's changing instead of being the exact same survival world forever. Plugins & Community The server uses: Simple Voice Chat DiscordSRV A lore forum in the Discord where players can post about events, characters, wars, groups, and basically whatever is happening in the world (if it's public). Joining the Discord is highly recommended if you're playing. It's where you'll find server updates, revive times, upcoming events, lore, and other people from the server. Just try not to die. Saturdays are a long time away when you're staring at the ban screen.
