8BITMC Minecraft server

8BITMC is a Java Edition survival server with an economy and town-building focus. The server emphasizes a player-driven economy, auction houses, and player shops, all within a town-based infrastructure that encourages cooperation and friendly competition.

Players on 8BITMC engage in classic survival activities—exploring a large 40k by 40k map, building in towns, farming trades, and trading with others. Regular events and competitions run by the staff offer opportunities to win prizes, while PvP allows for competitive play within a governed towny environment. The economy is designed to be fair and players can participate in auctions and set up shops to monetize their in-game efforts.

The server is based in the United Kingdom and maintains a Discord community alongside its Java platform. It supports joining from Java Edition users and is accessible through a join address that is publicly known: play.8bitmc.uk. For information on how to get started, players can rely on its own communications—its website and its Discord—for specifics about setup, town creation, and participating in events.
