AmberSMP Minecraft server

AmberSMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on Survival, with SMP and Survival as its core game modes. Its branding emphasizes a PvP-infused, competitive yet community-driven Survival experience, featuring land claims, a living economy, and seasonal elements alongside traditional building and exploration. The server presents a mix of PvP activities, base-building, trading, and ongoing player-driven competition within a persistent Survival world.

Players on AmberSMP engage in large-scale base building, town creation, and trading, while also taking part in PvP events and seasonal activities. The server stresses a no pay-to-win philosophy, offering cosmetic or convenience perks through ranks rather than combat advantages, and maintains separate resource worlds that rotate monthly to keep the environment fresh. This creates a balance between competitive play and long-term, creative progression.

AmberSMP is tailored for players who enjoy a strong community feel, ongoing projects, and regular events. It supports crossplay across Java and Bedrock editions and runs on 1.21+ versions, allowing players on different platforms to connect using the same address. The server is associated with a Discord community, providing a space for announcements, coordination, and social interaction beyond in-game play.

Joining AmberSMP is straightforward for Java players: its address is play.ambersmp.cc. Players should ensure they are on a compatible version (1.21 or newer for Java) and then connect via multiplayer, using Direct Connect if needed. Its website describes the features and ongoing activity, while its Discord provides community support and event information.
