Exile SMP at a glance

Exile SMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server that runs with cross-platform play and a lifesteal-focused, survival-based experience. The server emphasizes a heart-steal mechanic where player activity directly impacts heart count, blending competitive PvP with a grounded economy and classic SMP structure.

Players on Exile SMP engage in heart-based progression: kills grant permanent hearts, while deaths reduce your total hearts. Hitting zero hearts results in exile from the server until resurrected by another player. This creates high-stakes encounters and community-driven balance, all within a player-driven economy designed to keep interactions fair and meaningful. The server is positioned as a fresh, actively developed space for founding members to shape its rules and future features.

The server targets players in the United States and offers cross-platform accessibility, with Java IP play.exilesmp.cc and Bedrock compatibility for those on other editions. Its Discord community supports recruitment and feedback, and it is advertised as a test-focused environment where testers and idea contributors can join the early development phase to influence the final rules and mechanics. Exile SMP is described as a Lifesteal SMP with a balanced economy and a community-driven approach to growth.
