NotSMP Minecraft server

NotSMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server centered on a Lifesteal gameplay loop. Players kill others to gain permanent hearts, while dying costs hearts, creating a high-stakes PvP experience. The server emphasizes a vanilla-inspired feel with minimal structural constraints, focusing on raw skill and combat readiness rather than shop-driven advantage. The current server version listed is 26.3, and the Java address to join is play.notsmp.online.

The server offers a heavy PvP focus within a fixed world boundary and a grace period at launch. NotSMP includes a 10-minute grace period during which PvP is disabled so new entrants can gear up safely. A world border confines the map to 10,000 by 10,000 blocks to heighten encounters and chaotic battles, while a Mace ability has a 180-second cooldown and is non-enchantable to maintain balanced fights.

NotSMP is positioned for players seeking a competitive, no-Pay-to-Win Lifesteal challenge with frequent PvP action and high-risk decision making. It suits players who enjoy head-to-head combat, base-building under pressure, and rapid faction-like confrontations in a vanilla-leaning environment.

To join, players should use the Java Edition client and connect to the server at the address above. Its platform is Java Edition, and the server’s description highlights a completely vanilla-themed experience with a focus on chaos and fair combat.
