ValleyCraft at a glance

ValleyCraft is a long-running Java Edition Minecraft server centered on season-based survival with an economy focus. It operates as a survival SMP with economy elements and a whitelist policy, aiming for a Hermitcraft-like, community-driven experience.

Players join ValleyCraft to participate in a rebuilt world during its current season, Season Osiris, which uses a Terralith world generation and is kept up-to-date with the latest vanilla tweaks and datapacks the server seeks to incorporate. The community seeks dedicated builders and semi-competitive players who want to contribute to a shared shopping district, large bases, and collaborative projects in the spirit of long-term, collaborative survival, not quick resets.

ValleyCraft runs on Java Edition with a version listing around 26.3 in recent listings, and the join address is valleycraft.serv.nu. It is designed to be accessed through its platform-specific setup and falls within the sandbox of semi-vanilla, economy-enabled survival play. Prospective players who enjoy a slower-building, realism-forward server with a focus on bases, town development, and a stable community will fit well. To join, players connect using the address noted above through their Minecraft client and follow the server’s community guidelines, while leveraging its Discord for coordination and events.

In the server's own words

Four years have passed since ValleyCraft's premier season. Now the gate has been unlatched, headstones pushed aside. ValleyCraft has risen from rest, and now dawns its grandest season; bonafide!

Have I gotten your attention? Good, we all love Halo quotes, don't we? Long story short, ValleyCraft is a season-based SMP that has been taken out of retirement. What was once a metropolis of dedicated players is now being rebuilt, and that's where you come in. We need dedicated players who strive to go beyond the boundaries of ordinary Minecraft, much like the professionals do on servers such as Hermitcraft.

Here's the rundown, folks. The season started about two weeks ago, we have around eighteen players, but not all are as active as we wish. We're looking for more players to migrate over and help us change this simple world into a realm of wonders.

The map we are playing on during Season Osiris [back from the dead, get it?] is a Terralith world, and by golly is it beautiful. We are updated to 1.21, and are ready and waiting for some datapacks and vanilla-tweaks to cross over. Needless to say, we're stoked to have you join us!
