Horizonsmp Minecraft server

Horizonsmp is a small survival SMP that supports cross‑play between Java and Bedrock players on a single world. It runs on Java Edition and is described as a fresh-ish, friendly community server with a simple, open‑to‑everyone approach and light anti‑cheat protections. The server emphasizes a shared Overworld experience rather than separate dimensions, with a focus on exploration, building, and cooperative survival.

Players actually join a single persistent world where proximity voice chat helps neighbors coordinate builds, embark on projects, and chat while they play. Distant Horizons is supported to extend render distances for a more expansive landscape, and grief protection with a rollback feature helps safeguard player builds and progress. The setup aims to keep things approachable and communal while preserving the excitement of a developing world.

Horizonsmp is well suited to players who want an unwhitelisted, easy‑to‑access survival community that supports cross‑platform play and a relaxed, friendly vibe. Its Netherlands origin is reflected in its reach and hosting, appealing to Java and Bedrock players who enjoy a shared survival experience with cooperative goals.

Joining is straightforward: it is accessible through its join address mc.jdries.nl, and players can connect via its website or its Discord for community support and guidance.
