Augusts ProgressiveCraft Minecraft server

Augusts ProgressiveCraft is a Java Edition server that stays on a single fork of the game, specifically a 1.0.x series, and is renewed yearly to archive older game modes. The server describes itself as creating a new fork each year for older modes that need preservation, and its current setup centers on 1.0.x with a path toward versions beyond 1.7.2. This approach is reflected in third‑party listings and community posts documenting the 1.0.x fork and its ongoing maintenance.

Players on ProgressiveCraft engage in an SMP-style survival experience with a built-in economy, where playtime streaks and voting streaks provide recurring rewards, and there is a clear emphasis on a free-to-play model without paid ranks. The server uses custom plugins that are not openly visible to players, and it is designed to keep gameplay focused on economy and survival mechanics rather than competitive monetization. The environment is kept consistent across the forked versions, enabling a stable survival experience as the world evolves within the same version family.

The server is United Kingdom–based and supports the Java Edition platform, aligning with players who prefer classic, version‑focused survival play. Its stated goal is to maintain an archival feel for older game modes while offering a modern, ongoing server experience within the constraints of the 1.0.x lineage. ProgressiveCraft welcomes players who want to explore survival with an economy in a historically preserved Java edition setting.
