HBM Nuclear Shadow at a glance

HBM Nuclear Shadow is a Java Edition multiplayer server focused on factions, modded play, PvP and survival in a small English-speaking community. It runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge and a modded pack that includes Realistic Terrain Generation, Farmer's Delight and MrCrayfish's Furniture. The server emphasizes a paced collaborative build of a shared nuclear program, with no fixed tech tree and space for new players to influence its future direction while you still have room to grow.

Players participate in faction-based, competitive survival within a modded environment, balancing construction, resource gathering and strategic play. The early-progress vibe invites players who want to shape the server’s development from the ground up, rather than catching up to established megabases. A dedicated modpack is required to join, so players prepare before connecting to the server.

HBM Nuclear Shadow is based in China and includes a Discord community for coordination and socializing. It is accessible to Java Edition players who can join using the address play.simpfun.cn:25025; its Discord is used for coordination and planning.

In the server's own words

HBM Nuclear Shadow

A small English-speaking 1.12.2 NTM Extended server, still in the early Electrical Age.

We are a handful of people building a shared nuclear program at our own pace, with Realistic Terrain Generation, Farmer's Delight and MrCrayfish's Furniture for when you want a break from the grind.

We are early enough that a new player can actually shape where the server goes. No solved tech tree, no megabases you will never catch up to.

Download the modpack before you join. This is a modded server — you cannot connect without it.
