Phobos PVP at a glance

Phobos PVP is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on faction-based PvP and survival gameplay.

Play revolves around raiding and defending territory, engaging rival factions, and using a mix of classic combat and customized tools within a hand-drawn biomes map. The server promotes a raid-oriented playstyle and emphasizes faction clashes, with features like explosives and special items described in its description.

The server is positioned for players in the United States and hosts its own infrastructure, rather than relying on generic hosting. It supports 1.8.1–1.8.7 clients and lists a machine location in Atlanta, GA, with a self-hosted setup. This makes it suitable for players who want a traditional pre-1.9 PvP experience on a hand-crafted map.

To join, players connect to the Java address provided by Phobos PVP. The join address is copied exactly as server.phobospvp.com and is referred to as the main access point on its website and related listings, facilitating straightforward entry from the Minecraft multiplayer menu. Its website and its Discord offer additional, but optional, information for new and returning players.
