Neostralis at a glance

Neostralis is a Java Edition Minecraft server centered on an expansive, player-driven experience. It combines economy, mcMMO, roleplay, survival, and Towny gameplay within a large custom world. The community builds and expands across a vast map, offering both structured questlines and open-ended exploration, with hundreds of dungeons to loot and a variety of player-made cities to inhabit.

Players start their journey in Hochfels, a remote mountain village, and can travel to the capital Iakania to discover more of the world. They choose a class and a profession to gain useful abilities, participate in quests to uncover world secrets, and engage in a community where fellow players contribute items and help each other settle in, or strike out on their own into the wilderness.

The server appears to be aimed at players who enjoy a mix of cooperative building, RPG-style progression, and long-term world-building in a towny framework. It supports a German-speaking community, and a Discord presence complements in-game interactions. The game world is described as 120,000 blocks of custom terrain, inviting exploration, mapping, and dungeon crawling as core activities.

Joining is straightforward for those on Java Edition. Its join address is play.neostralis.net. For more information, players can visit its website or wiki, and its Discord provides ongoing community engagement.
