TheDeQ Minecraft server

TheDeQ is a Swedish-hosted Minecraft server that focuses on a vanilla-inspired experience with multiple play spaces. It runs Java Edition and features two main server halves: a Vanilla Survival world and a Creative area. The project appears to emphasize a low-grief environment with a strong emphasis on preserving a vanilla feel while offering creative building opportunities.

In Vanilla Survival, players explore and build in a largely unclaimed world, aiming for a true survival vibe without heavy claims systems. The Creative side is a plot-based world where builders have access to worldedit for rapid construction and experimentation. This combination makes TheDeQ attractive to players who want both the challenge of survival and the freedom of creative construction on one server.

The server is described as suitable for players who enjoy a relatively relaxed, community-driven environment with moderation against griefing and theft. It lists Java Edition as the platform and notes the Sweden location, which can influence latency for regional players. For joining, players should use the designated server address during multiplayer setup and follow the standard Minecraft server join flow through its server list. The community also maintains a Discord presence for support and announcements, complementing the in-game experience.

TheDeQ’s setup prioritizes vanilla survival alongside a creative plot world, appealing to builders and explorers alike. To join, use mc.thedeq.com as the server address, then select TheDeQ from the server list. Its website and Discord provide additional context and support.
