Cassowary SMP Minecraft server

Cassowary SMP is a Java Edition survival server centered on a small, whitelist-based community. It runs on the latest version of spigot Minecraft and emphasizes a mostly vanilla experience with a few quality-of-life plugins. The server is tagged as Survival and Vanilla, reflecting its core focus on straightforward, unforced exploration and building rather than complex game modes. Its stated version is 26.3, and it operates from Australia, supporting players who want a locally hosted feel paired with a global community when online. Its website hosts the application process for joining the whitelist, underscoring its community-driven approach.

Once admitted, players engage in a traditional Survival SMP environment where the emphasis is on cooperative or solo building, resource gathering, and exploration within a lightly customized, stable plugin set. The server profile notes that it is a small whitelisted community, so access hinges on the application process rather than open public joining. This setup suits players who value a closer-knit group and a steady, vanilla-leaning play style without large-scale factions or rapid resets.

Cassowary SMP also maintains a Discord community for ongoing support and casual coordination, making it easier for new and prospective members to connect outside the game. It is designed to be accessible to Java Edition players, reflecting a straightforward Java IP entry for those ready to join. For those who want to learn more or start the joining process, its official join address is provided in the server details as part of the entry.

Its join address is play.cassowarysmp.net.
