CatCraftMC at a glance

CatCraftMC is a Java Edition survival server with a vanilla aesthetic and extra world-generation touches. The server emphasizes a long-term SMP experience and runs a world with a border currently set to 2k in every direction, aiming for a multi-year presence as updates roll out.

Players on CatCraftMC do collaborative building and exploration in a vanilla-like world, with additional terrain generation features that enhance biomes without requiring client mods. In addition to Survival, the server also hosts a Creative side with world edit capabilities and several side servers for testing games and features, all designed to stay true to vanilla blocks while expanding what players can do together. Bluemap runs across both Survival and Creative, and a Discord bot supports in-game chat and coordination.

The community is described as LGBT+ friendly and adult-only (21+), with a relatively small but active membership that supports ongoing development and quality-of-life improvements. The server is US-based, hosted on the western coast, and is accessible via its join address only once in this listing: play.catcraftmc.com. CatCraftMC is primarily targeted at players who want a long-term vanilla-inspired experience with mature, inclusive community standards, and it remains a Java-only offering with a focus on stable, community-driven play.

Its website and its Discord host further information and applications, while the core join path remains the single IP: play.catcraftmc.com.

In the server's own words

Welcome to CatCraft!

CatCraft is a smaller, LGBT+ friendly, adult only (21+) community focused Minecraft server.

We started Season 1 on April 4, 2019. We recently started season 3 on September 6, 2025, doing things slightly differently than we have in the past. Our current world runs a collection of world generation mods to add additional biomes, and enhanced terrain generation. Nothing we use requires mods or resource packs on the client side, and everything is made from vanilla blocks. Currently, we're running 1.21.10, with a world border set at 2k in every direction. The world border will be expanding, as the world updates, and remains stable. This is intended to be a multi-year, long term world. Our server is hosted in Oregon, on the western coast of the USA.

While we're a small-ish community (usually between 30 and 80 total active members), the admin staff is passionate about keeping the server going and providing as many quality of life options as possible. On top of having a Survival server, we also have a Creative server with world edit, as well as a host of other side servers, to be used as needed for various games and testing purposes. Bluemap runs on both Creative and Survival, as well as a discord Chat Bot.

More info on the above, or an application can be found on our Discord.
