A Towny Server at a glance

A Towny Server offers a near-vanilla Minecraft experience that blends Towny and economy plugins with a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. The server emphasizes simple, friendly gameplay, with Towny for nation-building and a player-driven economy that supports buying and selling among residents. Jobs are available too, letting players earn money through their chosen activities, from mining to farming to enchanting and beyond.

Players on this server explore a cozy spawn built by members of the community, join one of the towns, and participate in a social, locally oriented world. The combination of Survival gameplay with Towny rules sets the stage for cooperative development and shared projects, all while maintaining a relaxed, inclusive vibe. Cosmetic features like pets, hats, trails, mounts, and gadgets add personal flair without skewing the core Towny experience.

The server runs on Java Edition and supports versions up to 26.2, with cross-play between Java and Bedrock players facilitated by the Towny ecosystem. It suits players who enjoy a close-to-vanilla feel, a friendly community, and a straightforward progression toward building towns, managing resources, and trading in a busy, player-driven economy. It is accessible to players on multiple platforms and can be joined via its join address when in-game: mso.atownyserver.com. Its website also hosts information and updates, and the community maintains a Discord for ongoing chat and support.

Its website emphasizes a cosy, small-community environment, hands-on help from returning players, and features designed to keep things simple while encouraging interaction. With Harbor for daytime skipping, back commands after death, fast leaf decay, chest shops for player markets, and locking via an anti-theft system, the server provides practical conveniences that support ongoing town life and fair play.

In the server's own words

A Towny Server delivers a close-to-vanilla experience with the Towny and Jobs plugins!

Our small community of dedicated people are ready to welcome you with cosy and friendly vibes and will be happy to welcome you into the borders of a beautiful town!

On our server, we try to keep things simple, rather than going for complicated things. When you join, you'll be welcomed by the cosy spawn that we built ourselves with members of our community, who themselves will be ready to welcome you!

To keep things simple while still encouraging interaction within the community, we have a player-driven economy where you can buy and sell helpful things to and from other players at better rates than the server shop. Sporting the Jobs plugin as well, you can earn money by simply doing your favourite thing in vanilla Minecraft, be it mining, farming, enchanting, brewing or many other things!

We also have lots of cosmetics! Pets, Hats, Trails, Mounts, Gadgets, and more, all available for everyone to get their hands on!

Other plugins that contribute to our comfy feel are Harbor for skipping to daytime, /back for returning to your location should you die, FastLeafDecay for getting rid of those pesky leaves, Chest Shops for player markets, LWC for locking your valuable chests away from other players and an Anti-Cheat to keep everyone playing fair!

Thank you for reading through and we hope to see you in-game!
