SMP.DOG at a glance

SMP.DOG is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on cozy survival with a dog-themed twist. It runs on Java Edition version 26.2 and centers on a survival experience that includes an integrated dog mechanic, where players can morph into a pup and use dog-related abilities as they progress. The server advertises a mix of traditional survival play and unique dog-based features, such as dog XP, breeds, collars, charms, and tricks. The server’s own materials describe a dog-forward world built around exploration, farming, and custom activities.

Players explore a large 15,000 by 15,000 block survival map with a separate resource world, land claims, keep inventory, and proximity voice chat. Each player gets a floating dog house on their own island, which they can upgrade, decorate, and use as a shopfront for chest shops. Alongside regular mining and building, there are eight dog-themed jobs, daily and weekly errands to earn money and Bones, and a rotating lineup of dog games including Fetch Race, Agility Course, Dig for Treasure, Cat Chase, and a weekly Dog Show.

The server suits players who enjoy a lighthearted, community-driven survival experience with roleplay-like canine mechanics. It supports a US-based audience and maintains an active Discord community, offering social features such as packs, marriages, emotes, cosmetics, and a cozy Nap Den. Joining is straightforward for Java players, with the IP smp.dog and information about its website and Discord available to prospective players, and the server’s data indicating compatibility with Java Edition and version 26.2.
