MineFected at a glance

MineFected is a Java Edition Minecraft server centered on a post-apocalyptic, Walking Dead-inspired experience. It emphasizes economy and PvP, with gameplay designed around scavenging for loot, fighting infected hordes, and building or fortifying shelter in a harsh, desolate world. The server runs on version 1.12.2, offering a setting where players explore abandoned cities, forests, and ruins in search of weapons, ammo, food, and supplies.

Players on MineFected engage in both PvE and PvP dynamics. Loot systems are customized to reward survival, and players may choose to form alliances or tackle dangers solo. The game prioritizes strategic choices: fight, flee, or hide as hordes of infected roam the map, with the objective of staying alive while managing limited resources. Crafting, defending bases, and exploiting supply caches are core activities that shape every round.

The server is positioned for Spanish- and English-speaking audiences and has a dedicated Discord community for coordination and socializing. It is suitable for players who enjoy survival challenges, tactical combat, and cooperative or competitive play within a post-apocalyptic theme. Join sessions on its Java edition platform, learn the ropes in a familiar 1.12.2 environment, and connect using the join address exactly once: play.minefected.com. Its website provides the official information and announcements, while its Discord offers real-time chat and events for the MineFected community.
