New SMP Minecraft server

New SMP is a Java Edition survival server built for a large community, running on version 1.21.4. The server emphasizes a classic survival experience with a few player-side tweaks and quality-of-life mods. The server operates from the United Kingdom and is advertised as a large server capable of hosting 1,000+ players overall.

Players on New SMP engage in standard survival activities—gathering resources, building, exploring, and collaborating with others in a persistent world. The mod notes indicate conveniences like warps for quick travel and a no-farm-trampling rule, while the crouch-to-mend feature adds a practical twist to item repair. The presence of an English-language interface and a Discord community supports a welcoming, community-driven feel for players who enjoy a straightforward survival experience with light, optional modifications.

New SMP supports Java players and is described as a server/world with a dedicated, long-term community rather than a strictly small, private world. It is suitable for players who want a large, active Java SMP with a focus on vanilla-style gameplay enhanced by a few targeted mods.
