Everwaves SMP at a glance

Everwaves SMP is a whitelisted vanilla-style Minecraft server focusing on a Pure Vanilla Survival experience, with a Creative server side to support large builds. It runs on Java Edition and supports cross-play with other platforms through its setup, currently targeting Minecraft version 1.21.11. The server emphasizes a clean, authentic vanilla feel, enhanced by QoL datapacks and plugins that players vote on, including grief protection, a livemap, and a SetHome command (one per player).

Players come to Everwaves SMP to explore, build, and survive together in a community-minded environment. The main activity revolves around a survival world where players gather resources, craft, and collaborate, while still enjoying the convenience of a live map to plan and showcase builds. The server explicitly avoids economy plugins, towny, or land claiming, preserving the Vanilla experience, and it welcomes players who value a mature, helpful staff presence and an active Discord community.

The server is managed with a whitelist and a straightforward joining process. It supports a moderate, steady player base with activity balanced across different global time zones, and it maintains a live map for player navigation. To join, use the designated Java Edition address: play.everwaves.net. Its website provides joining details and ongoing community information, while its Discord hosts ongoing conversation and support for new members.

In the server's own words

Hello there! Let me tell you a little about Everwaves SMP, we are an SMP server that also has a Creative Server, but our main focus is on the SMP. We are running 1.21.6, here we do have a few QOL plugins/data packs that have slowly been implemented over a few months due to player votes. Some of those being:

- Grief protection to rollback any area with just a few commands - Singleplayer sleeping (built in the game) - Livemap - SetHome command (1 per player) - Double Shulker Shells, and other neat datapacks.

No additional money plugins, No towny or land claiming, none of that stuff that takes away from the Vanilla experience.

We also have a very active and helpful staff with a mod or admin always being on if trouble arose or if you just have some questions. Also, we are aiming to be a mature community, and we do have a whitelist currently as well and a quick application that will need to be filled first.

We have a pretty active player base as well as Discord so the server can see anywhere from 7 or so players to 16+ a day, and it is pretty much a guarantee there will always be someone online since we have players from all over the world.

If this seems like something you or your friends would like to be a part of, we would love to have you in our community! You can simply fill out an application in our discord and we can quickly get you added there and answer any additional questions you might have.

We hope to see you there and hope you find a nice home here at Everwaves SMP, we plan to be around for a while. Thank you again for your time and hope you have a good one!
