GensSMP Minecraft server

GenSMP is a Java Edition survival server with cross-play features and a focus on the Gens concept within an SMP (survival) framework. The server lists itself under the Gens and SMP game modes, and the platform is explicitly Java Edition, indicating players join on PC with compatible Minecraft Java clients.

This server emphasizes custom content, including unique plugins and mythic items described in its own description, which suggests players engage in a gameplay loop built around those custom elements rather than vanilla survival alone. The stated cap of 25 players points to a more close-knit community experience rather than a large, always-full server.

GenSMP is positioned for players who want a creative, self-contained survival experience with cross-play considerations and a clear emphasis on its gens-based mechanics. It may appeal to those who enjoy a tailored SMP environment with bespoke items and plugins, and who are seeking a more intimate server culture rather than a large-scale network.

Joining is straightforward: connect to genssmp.minekeep.gg via Java Edition. The server also maintains a presence on its own Discord, offering a space for community discussion and coordination. Players are encouraged to check its website or its Discord for community information and updates.
