GemSMP Minecraft server

GemSMP is a Java Edition survival server focused on an economy-centered SMP experience. It blends classic survival gameplay with an active economy layer and cooperative progression, all tied to an ongoing community-driven world. The server emphasizes time-based progression through ranks and a fair, non-pay-to-win model, with protections in place to help players establish and grow their builds without fear of griefing. The 26.3 version tag signals ongoing updates and compatibility with recent Minecraft content, while the Java platform ensures broad compatibility for players on PC clients.

Players on GemSMP engage in traditional survival activities—exploring, mining, crafting, trading, and forming in-game systems powered by an economy. The server’s design supports players who enjoy a steady, long-term SMP experience where community feedback informs content development and balance. With cross-community channels such as a Discord, players can stay in touch, coordinate events, and share progress as towns and shops develop within the world.

The server is based in the United States and supports Java Edition with a dedicated cross-platform community. Its join address is play.gemsmp.cc, which players use to connect from the Java client. Those who want to learn more or engage with the community can access its website and its Discord for announcements, events, and ongoing discussions about updates and gameplay changes.
