JMC Hardcore Minecraft server

JMC Hardcore is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on a vanilla-inspired experience with a twist. It combines Hardcore, SMP, Survival, and Vanilla game modes, and runs on version 26.2. The server emphasizes a tighter, more social survival world rather than big-scale PvP chaos, and it includes features like SimpleVoiceChat and various QoL improvements to smooth the gameplay.

Players on JMC Hardcore engage in a death-penalty survival loop: each death costs 2 hearts, with a god apple able to restore 1 heart. The world is kept small by a modest worldborder to encourage social interactions and frequent player contact. A custom resource pack adds polish without losing the vanilla feel, and a whitelist restricts access to players aged 18+ to maintain a specific community vibe. The server also highlights LGBTQ+ friendly attitudes, aiming for a respectful, welcoming environment.

This is a fresh Hardcore SMP that began on August 1, 2026, and it maintains a focus on community and collaboration over chaos. It offers a dedicated Discord community for coordination and events, and its stated setup includes quality-of-life tweaks designed to improve the survival experience while keeping the core Minecraft challenge intact. The server’s join address is play.justminecraft.org:25567.

To join, players use the Java Edition client and connect to the specified IP. It is described as LGBTQ+ friendly and designed for a community that values cooperation and a more controlled, social hardcore environment. Its website and its Discord provide further information and community channels, but the game itself remains the central experience.
