Paradox Horizons (GTNH) Minecraft server

Paradox Horizons (GTNH) is a Java Edition Minecraft server that centers on GregTech: New Horizons with a focus on hardcore progression within a modded, yet approachable environment. It runs on a GTNH core and features a blend of Survival and vanilla elements, with the modpack driving much of the late-game complexity while keeping familiar Minecraft gameplay intact.

Players stepping onto Paradox Horizons engage with large-scale progression systems, typically working through technological eras, automation, and resource chains introduced by GregTech New Horizons. The emphasis is on meaningful advancement, exploration, and collaboration as the world’s tech tree unlocks new options and challenges. The server itself positions this journey as a default-friendly but deeply involved experience, inviting players to push through complex recipes, multi-step builds, and coordinated projects.

Suitable for players who enjoy modded survival with a heavy emphasis on progression and technical gameplay, as well as fans of vanilla Minecraft who appreciate a curated modded twist. The server operates from the United States and is accessible on Java Edition, targeting players comfortable with a 1.7.10 environment that aligns with GTNH’s long-running modpack ecosystem. It supports a Discord community for communication and coordination, and its activity is reflected in ongoing versioning such as 2.9.0-RC-2 across its GTNH development track.
