A Modded SMP Minecraft server

A Modded SMP is a Java Edition modded survival server centered on an approachable, chaotic take on the classic SMP formula. It runs NeoForge and leverages Alex's Caves, with the notable twist that Elytra wings are banned unless a player has explicit permission, creating a more ground-focused, hazard-filled exploration vibe. The setup references a 26.2 version build and a reupload of Alex's Caves, which can lead to occasional quirks in the code and behavior, but the core experience remains a modded survival world with a strong emphasis on exploration and custom content.

Players on this server are expected to survive and craft within a modded environment, contend with unique creatures and environments introduced by its mods, and follow its Elytra ban policy to keep travel balanced. It is described as an SMP first and foremost, offering a touch of “jank” and homemade server energy, alongside the modded features that come with neoforge and the Alex's Caves integration. This makes it appealing to players who enjoy hands-on modded survival with a sprinkle of unconventional rules and a community-driven vibe.

A Modded SMP targets players who want a modded survival experience with a distinct twist and tolerant hardware requirements, focusing on Java Edition gameplay. It suits those who enjoy exploring modded biomes, testing the limits of unconventional content, and sticking to a linear, survival-centered progression rather than vanilla-like speedrunning. To join, players should use the join address amoddedsmp.falix.me, then launch Minecraft Java, and connect.
