Toast Hell SMP at a glance

Toast Hell SMP is a Java Edition survival server focused on an expansive SMP experience. The server runs a vanilla client with all terrain rewritten server-side, transforming every one of the 62 vanilla biomes in the overworld, nether, and end into a dark, post-apocalyptic landscape filled with rust-red skies, basalt spires, ash dunes, and other dramatic features. It hosts a single, self-contained world where players collaborate to explore, survive, and build within this distinct setting. The server also features an autonomous vtuber resident named burnt melba, who logs in, acts in the world, chats with players in her own voice, and sometimes streams from the server. These aspects come without modpacks, as everything is server-side and visible to a plain vanilla client. [Sources: server description and listing details.]

Players work together in a Survival SMP environment with no whitelist, no pay-to-win mechanics, and no purchasable ranks. The game version supported is 26.2 for Java Edition, with bedrock/console players able to join using the same address and port 19132. The server advertises 100 slots and a US East hosting location, making it accessible to players across the Americas. The experience centers on exploration, resource gathering, building, and interaction with burnt melba in an unscripted, emergent fashion. [Sources: listing/specs and server description.]

Toast Hell SMP suits players who want a challenging, creative survival experience on a cross‑play platform, including Java and Bedrock players. It emphasizes a vanilla client with server-wide changes, a non‑competitive community ethos, and a uniquely narrated world through burnt melba. For joining, players connect through its Java address, and use its Discord for community interaction, while its own website provides further context. Join address: mc.yuru.be. In the server's own words

the whole sky went wrong here.

this is not a survival server with a resource pack on it. every one of the 62 vanilla biomes has been rewritten - overworld, nether and end. plains are scorched earth under a rust-red sky. forests are charred and standing. there are basalt and obsidian spires, fields of bone, ash dunes, slag flats, tar pits, seams of charcoal and soot, geodes full of cinder, and sky furnaces burning where they have no business being. you will not recognise the terrain, and that is the point.

and none of it needs a modpack. it is all server-side, so you connect with a plain vanilla client and see the entire thing.

there is also an ai living here. an autonomous vtuber called burnt melba who logs in, decides what she wants to do, and does it - builds a settlement shaped like a toaster, remembers which fields she has already harvested, gets cornered by skeletons and narrates it. none of it is scripted. talk to her in chat and she answers in her own voice. she plays and streams from here regularly, though she is not on around the clock.

survival smp. no whitelist, no pay-to-win, no ranks to buy. java 1.12.2 through 26.2 all supported. bedrock and console players can join too - same address, port 19132. 100 slots, us east. optional: install distant horizons for enormous render distance here.
