Pumpkin SMP at a glance

Pumpkin SMP is a Java Edition survival multiplayer server that blends vanilla-style gameplay with light, player-driven systems. Its game modes center on survival, with PvP and open-world exploration as core activities. The server emphasizes a community feel, seasonal flavor, and a semi-vanilla ruleset that allows for light plugins like player shops while keeping the main survival loop intact.

Players on Pumpkin SMP engage in traditional SMP activities—building, farming, trading within a player-driven economy, and raiding friends’ bases at late hours—within an autumnal world where seasonal events and community builds keep things lively. Grief protection is in place to help protect builds, and the economy provides a social layer beyond solo grinding. The environment and events are designed to give participants a sense of belonging to an active, active world rather than a lone, isolated server.

The server targets a broad audience, from builders and redstone tinkers to casual raiders, and it has an active Discord community for coordinating events and trading. It supports Java Edition players and lists versioning around 26.3, with a large capacity noted in its listing. Joining is straightforward for Java players: the server can be joined via pumpkin-smp.play.minekube.net, with the note that its public-facing pages may announce status changes or prompts to reconnect.

Its platform and network setup align with Minekube’s Connect system, enabling a direct join path for Java players through its endpoint. Players can discover and connect to Pumpkin SMP using the standard Minekube joining experience, and they should use the exact join address above when connecting to the server.

In the server's own words

Welcome to Pumpkin SMP

Pumpkin SMP is a survival multiplayer world built for players who want more than just punching trees and mining stone. Set in an ever-autumn landscape where the leaves never stop falling and the pumpkins never stop growing, this server blends classic vanilla-style survival with a community. Whether you're a builder, a redstone tinkerer, a farmer, or someone who just wants to raid your friends' bases at 2am, there's a place for you here.

We run a semi-vanilla ruleset — light plugins for player shops but nothing that gets in the way of real survival gameplay. Grief protection keeps your builds safe, while an active player-run economy means you can trade crops, enchants, and rare loot instead of grinding solo. Seasonal events, harvest festivals, and community builds keep things fresh long after the initial spawn rush.

The community is friendly, active, and always looking to bring in new players — whether you're rolling in solo or bringing a whole friend group. We've got dedicated channels for trading, building showcases, event announcements, and general chat, plus a staff team that actually plays the game with you instead of just moderating from the sidelines.

If you're looking for a server with personality, an actual community behind it, and a world that feels alive instead of empty, Pumpkin SMP is worth logging into. Grab your role, hop on.
