mlume Minecraft server

mlume is a Java Edition prison-themed server that centers on a Prison, PvP, and Roleplay mix. It runs on Velocity and accepts clients from older to newer 1.26-era versions, with a current version tag of 26.2. Gameplay emphasizes two paths: as a prisoner who can clash with guards, craft from desk or shopkeeper resources, and work toward a breakout to become a Fugitive; or as a guard who can be promoted to roles like Detective or Tank, expanding the prison’s tactical options.

Players in mlume can expect structured roles and progression that blend combat, stealth, and roleplay. Prisoners start inside the facility, pursue escapes, and seek advantages through crafted gear and in-world economies, while guards defend the facility and navigate shifts of responsibility. The setting supports PvP moments during escapes, as well as ongoing roleplay interactions that shape the day-to-day dynamics of life inside and outside the walls.

This server is based in the United States and caters to English-speaking players who enjoy a prison-escape narrative and character-driven interactions. It supports cross-play considerations typical of Java servers and has a dedicated Discord community for community building and event coordination. Newcomers will find the joining process straightforward through the standard Java Edition path: open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer, choose Direct Connect, and enter the server address. To join, use the address play.mlume.xyz.
