The Refuge Minecraft server

The Refuge is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on vanilla+ survival gameplay with an economy twist. The server aims to combine a classic survival experience with player-driven marketplaces and activities, all within a queer‑friendly community.

Players on The Refuge will find a community-oriented space where people can work together to build, farm, trade, and explore within a survival setting. The server’s own description emphasizes a welcoming, active Discord-connected community, created to help likeminded players find an environment where they can do what they enjoy most in Minecraft. The emphasis on “vanilla+” suggests familiar mechanics with small, player-centric enhancements rather than heavy mods.

The Refuge is positioned for players in the United Kingdom and those seeking a queer‑friendly Minecraft home. It operates on the Java edition platform and can be joined by using the standard Java client; the server’s address is mc.queer-refuge.com.
