StarTapSMP Minecraft server

StarTapSMP is a Java Edition survival server with a focus on high-stakes economy and competitive PvP. Its description highlights an economy-driven gameplay loop, mcMMO-powered progression, and a survival environment where gear and wealth matter, all without land claims. Cross-play is emphasized, allowing Java and Bedrock players to compete in the same world, which shapes a shared market and leaderboard dynamic.

Players on StarTapSMP engage in building, trading, and risk management as they navigate the economy, currency-driven goals, and player-versus-player combat. The server presents a back-to-basics survival experience infused with shop systems and competitive ambition, where deaths can impact holdings and the market can shift quickly as players rise or fall within the economy.

The server is positioned for players who enjoy tight economy mechanics, fast-paced market competition, and a Hardcore-styled vibe within a cooperative yet competitive sandbox. It is suitable for those who want cross-platform play, and who prefer a single world where supply, demand, and risk interact in real time. The server supports Java Edition and aims to accommodate a range of players on different versions, with play accessible through its join process on Minehut.
