Contested Minecraft server

Contested is a Java Edition survival server built around four player-led teams: Plains, Snowy Plains, Badlands, and the Desert. It focuses on team-based play with a structured, ongoing objective space where leaders can be elected, conflicts can arise, and economies can develop through trading between teams. The world features an Earth-style setting and a monthly reset cycle to keep the landscape and rules fresh.

Players dive into a discipline of survival that emphasizes gathering resources, building, and strategic interaction with other teams. PvP is not allowed on the first day, giving newcomers a chance to acclimate and establish base territory before conflicts emerge. An anti-cheat system helps maintain fair play, and staff intervention is available if rules are broken, ensuring a managed environment for competitive teamwork.

Contested is designed for Java Edition players who enjoy a structured survival experience with faction-style dynamics, territorial goals, and ongoing governance within a four-team system. It suits players who like cooperation, diplomacy, and occasional conflict as part of a longer, evolving game arc.

To join, players use the join address play.contested.lol. The server is German in origin and has a Discord community for coordinating events and discussions, with the experience aligned to the 26.2 version set. Those seeking a team-driven, competitive survival world with monthly resets will find Contested a focused option on Java Edition, playable on its website or its Discord for community connection.
