Welcome to Evening Hills SMP, running version 1.21.10!

Evening Hills SMP at a glance

Evening Hills SMP is a whitelisted, community-driven Minecraft server centered on a semi-vanilla survival experience with a focus on building and cooperation. It features a mix of game modes and genres including Survival, Vanilla-style play, SMP progression, Economy, Factions, KitPvP, mcMMO, and Minigames, all designed to keep gameplay familiar while inviting ongoing collaboration and competition. The server runs on Java Edition and, per its own description, supports cross‑play with Bedrock, giving players on either platform a path to join using the appropriate IP and port.

Players on Evening Hills engage in a cooperative Minecraft world where community comes first: building projects, participating in faction conflict and economy activities, and enjoying minigames and kit-based PvP within a largely vanilla framework. The server emphasizes a safe, friendly atmosphere with a whitelist model to filter for players with positive intentions, and it communicates a commitment to security and a vanilla-friendly experience rather than pay-to-win incentives.

Prospective players are guided to its website for setup details and its Discord for the whitelist application process.

In the server's own words

At Evening Hills, we believe that the single most important thing for a Minecraft server to have is a great community: a great community of active, friendly, and creative people – people like you. We believe that what makes Minecraft special is its focus on building, rather than fighting and destroying. We don’t do raiding and griefing here – if that’s your thing that’s fine – but this isn’t the place for you. We take great satisfaction and great pride in being the kind of server you can count on. We’ll always be around when you want to play, we’ll never take any donation money for pay to win, and we’ll always stick to our roots. The plugins we use are to make the server more secure and to enhance gameplay – not to oversaturate or distract from the vanilla experience.

As a server seeking to be a viable option for everyone wishing to join, we are excited to be able to offer accessibility to both bedrock and Java players. Just use the corresponding IP and port listed below.

We care deeply about hosting a community of good quality people, and that means we whitelist the server to try and filter out the players with bad intentions. But that’s not you. Are you ready to join us? Use the discord invite link below and submit an application in the #whitelist-applications channel using the question prompts in the channel description!

Thanks for checking out Evening Hills, and take care!
