Reunion SMP at a glance

Reunion SMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server centered on survival-style play with a largely vanilla foundation. It features SMP, Survival, and Vanilla modes, with a player economy, claims, homes, and a simple market where players can sell diamonds for $100 each. The server emphasizes community-driven features and keeps distractions to a minimum, aligning with a near-vanilla experience while still offering conveniences that help players progress together.

Players participate in cooperative and competitive sandbox activities: building, exploring, gathering resources, managing land claims, and trading through the market and an auction house. The economy and shop system at spawn facilitate player-owned shops and one-time sales, while cosmetic ranks help cover server costs without enabling pay-to-win dynamics. Discord connectivity supports communication outside of in-game play as communities coordinate events and collaborations.

Reunion SMP runs on platforms that support Java Edition, with ongoing updates aligned to its stated versioning and a dedicated US-based hosting presence. The join address is reunionsmp.com, and players are encouraged to join through its website for rules, updates, and store information, or its Discord for community discussions and events.

In the server's own words

Origins: This server is sequel to Union SMP after it was shut down by the owner while it still had an active community. It happened to be shut down right before the very anticipated server update to 1.20 leading to the creation of this server. Union SMP was notable due to it being promoted in a Youtuber named Salc1's video where he tried to ask for OP on Minecraft servers.

Vanilla: While the server does have claims, homes, and a player economy, It is still considered almost entirely vanilla.

Market: The only item that you can sell to the server are diamonds which sell for $100 each. There is a market at spawn where players can create shops and sell items to other players using this money. We also have an auction house for one time sales.

Ranks: We have a few ranks on the server that help pay for server costs. They only provide cosmetic benefits as we are Anti Pay-to-Win. More info can be found at our webstore or by doing /vip on the server.
