Disc Realms Network at a glance

Disc Realms Network is a Java Edition Minecraft server that centers on two distinct gameplay paths: Towny and Semi-Anarchy. Towny focuses on geopolitics, nation-building, and wars between towns within a rotating world map, while Semi-Anarchy offers a more chaotic experience with a shop-based economy, raiding and griefing rules, and 1.8 PvP-inspired combat. KitPvP elements are woven into the Semi-Anarchy experience, with kits tied to ranks and progression.

Players on Disc Realms participate in economy-driven play, trading and jobs to grow their assets, and they explore a custom-generated world where much of the Nether content is found underground, accessed via drills sold in the server’s vehicle shop. The Towny mode emphasizes nation-to-nation interaction and resource exchange, with ongoing events and wars designed to keep competition lively. Weekly events and a community-driven structure help shape the server’s ongoing narrative.

The server serves players who enjoy a blend of structured, large-scale nation gameplay and freer, more raid-friendly action, all within a community that supports cross-player interaction. It suits players who want persistent economies, nation-building drama, or competitive PvP action in a semi-vanilla environment. Disc Realms runs on Java Edition and lists version 26.1.2 among its details, signaling an active development cycle. Joining is straightforward through its Java address play.discrealms.net, with the server offering an online presence via its website and its Discord for community updates.

In the server's own words

Disc Realms is a Network Server that offers two game modes: Towny and Semi-Anarchy!

Semi-Anarchy: This mode, which was inspired by a old server, Moocraft PvP, revives the classic fun with 1.8 PVP, shop-based economy, fullly allowed raiding/griefing, and rules to prevent cheating. Participate in weekly events to earn rewards, take on fights with KitPvP*, and face survival with lots of action and few rules. *KitPVP requires ranks to obtain kits, try asking a rank holder for a free kit :D

Towny: This mode includes a portion of the Earth as a map that is rotated each season to keep the gameplay unique throughout its lifetime, this mode also allows wars between nations and towns to bring action between players and promotes the economy of this server fully based on trading and jobs players can take on. With our custom world generation, you will never need the nether as many of the nether ores are in the underground material which can be mined with drills you can find on the server vehicle shop.
