ParrotBird at a glance

ParrotBird (Reborn) is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on a Lifesteal SMP experience with factions, economy, and classic survival gameplay. It blends Lifesteal PvP mechanics—where kills touch hearts—with team-based territory play, allowing players to form factions, claim land, and wage skirmishes in a compact, community-driven environment. The server supports a Vanilla-skewed feel while offering enhancements through its faction and economy layers.

Players log in to build, betray, form alliances, raid rivals, and shepherd their faction to dominance, all within a no-pay-to-win ethos. The setup emphasizes freedom and minimal but sensible rules, with common-sense conduct prioritized over heavy enforcement. Quality-of-life commands such as /tpa, /tpr, and /sethome keep the action flowing, while the cross-version support enables both older 1.8 clients and newer 1.21+ clients to connect via ViaVersion and ViaBackwards.

ParrotBird suits players who enjoy chaotic, collaborative competition and ongoing world-building—people who want active faction activity, heart-stealing PvP twists, and an evolving community. The server runs in the United States and is accessible to Java Edition players on multiple versions, with cross-version compatibility to accommodate a wide range of players. It’s designed for a casual, fun-focused audience rather than intense grind or grind-heavy speed runs.

To join, players can use the join address ParrotReborn.my.pebble.host, and they can also engage with the community on its website and its Discord. This cross-platform setup supports a wide range of play styles, from relaxed raiding and trading to full-on faction wars, all under a light-touch ruleset and a reminder to keep things fun.
