BorderMC at a glance

BorderMC is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on Towny-style play with a twist. It blends Survival and Vanilla elements with an economy system and mcMMO, creating a traditional sandbox feel enhanced by custom governance concepts. The server’s setup emphasizes non-earth geography and community-driven control, using its own overclaiming system built on top of Towny’s core mechanics to create dynamic what-if scenarios for players who want a polity-centric experience. The 26.2 version and Velocity-based hosting indicate a modernization of the classic Towny framework, while maintaining familiar Survival gameplay and vanilla blocks and crafting.”

In the server's own words

BorderMC is a non-earth Towny server with custom forms of government and a unique king of the hill system for overclaiming. We have many opportunities for builders, politicans, and PVPers alike.

We have our own, in-house developed system for overclaiming and overhauled Towny's default nation system into pacts, which have a variety of leadership options to choose from.

Including that, we are also NOT using an earth map. This gives more opportunity for interesting landscapes and flexible rules.
