The Wooden Spoon at a glance

The Wooden Spoon is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on a semi-vanilla, whitelisted survival experience. It runs as an English-speaking, mature community with a co-op and collaborative vibe, centered on survival play and vanilla-style gameplay. The server emphasizes ongoing builds and cooperative projects rather than pure minigames, and it has high server specs to support its players.

Players in The Wooden Spoon engage in cooperative survival adventures on a whitelisted environment, with staff oversight and a structured community approach. The server promotes a friendly, banter-filled atmosphere and encourages talk through its Discord for communication and coordination. It is designed to be driven by player collaboration rather than competition alone, with an emphasis on working together on a shared world.

The server is associated with Ireland as its region, and it supports Java Edition across its latest map cycle. It is described as whitelisted, with experienced staff and a long-running history of community management. Joining is done through the designated Java address, and players should be prepared to apply or engage with the community through its stated channels. If you want to explore or connect, join at play.tws.gg, and then follow the in-game prompts to hop into the survival world.

In the server's own words

New 1.21.11 map! Whitelisted mature community with experienced staff and high server specs. Apply on site https://tws.gg.

TWS is a friendly English-speaking, diverse organised community. We have a semi-vanilla, whitelisted, co-op, collaborative, survival, Minecraft server. We use Discord as a medium for communication. We play on the latest possible version of Minecraft. The staff at TWS have years of experience. Having ran a very successful server 3-4 years ago we are back to run another.

At TWS we are all here to have fun myself and the staff team are just ordinary people like everyone else, don't be afraid to talk or have some banter with us.
