INSOMNIA SMP at a glance

INSOMNIA SMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on vanilla survival with high-intensity playstyles. Its declared game modes are Anarchy and Hardcore, creating a challenging environment where players shape the world through their actions. The server operates in the United States region, and it maintains an active Discord community for coordination and socializing.

Players on INSOMNIA SMP engage in long-form survival gameplay, with cycles that swing between war and peace based on player activity and polls conducted in its Discord. The world is described as primarily vanilla with some small life-plugins, and there are boundaries tied to dimensions. Proximity voice chat is enabled, which helps teams coordinate builds and PvP strategies, while strict PvP rules and a no-pay-to-win stance set expectations for fair competition.

Newcomers can join by connecting to the server address, which is 172.240.73.172:25744, and engaging with the community via its Discord, where the join instructions and further details are provided on the server's official channels. The server emphasizes a mature environment (18+ or 16+ depending on maturity) and discourages hackers or cracked clients, inviting dedicated builders and PvP-oriented players to participate over the long term.

Its website and its Discord are the primary hubs for information and coordination, with the Java address provided through those channels. This combination makes INSOMNIA SMP a distinct option for players seeking a competitive, community-driven, largely vanilla experience in a 1.21.x era.
