Project Valiance at a glance

Project Valiance is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on creative building and survival gameplay. It blends Creative and mcMMO RPG elements with an SMP vibe, all in a long-running Free Build setting that also offers a full Survival experience. The server emphasizes open-world building rather than fixed plots, allowing players to shape the world as they see fit, while staying true to a steady creative and community-driven ethic.

Players on Project Valiance are encouraged to express their architectural and world-building ideas in a broad, open world, then switch to Survival mode if they want a different pace or challenge. The server also supports building protection and land-claim systems to prevent griefing, with staff and players able to manage claims and extend space as needed. Submissions of completed builds to the Discord can unlock claim-block refunds, tying the creative process to the community channels.

This server suits creative builders who want freedom beyond traditional plots, as well as players who enjoy a relaxed, long-term Minecraft home where builds and survival coexist. It welcomes those who value a friendly, persistent community and a structured yet forgiving environment for both large-scale projects and fresh starts in survival. The presence of a Discord community helps connect builders, organize events, and coordinate builds.

Project Valiance A Minecraft Building Endeavor | Since 2017

What is Project Valiance? Project Valiance is an attempt to make a server for creative minds in Minecraft to express their own approach in Minecraft building without the limitation of having a set plot to build. Instead, members of the server may build in Minecraft’s vast world, free of any set limits to build.

While free building has always been at the heart of our community, the server also offers a full survival experience. Whether you enjoy designing ambitious creative projects or starting fresh in survival, members are free to play the way they enjoy most.

Project Valiance is a relaxed server that's meant to be a long term home for players who simply enjoy Minecraft. Whether you play every day or only return every few months, the server will be here waiting for you. We have been online since 2017 and are not going away anytime soon.

Building Protection Anything griefed can always be rolled back at any certain date and time. But for added protection and a sense of security for players, players will be able to claim their own land that only they can exclusively build in to prevent it from being griefed in the first place. They may also give permissions to other members if they please. Players get more claim blocks the longer they are on the server. If a player’s build is out of bounds from their claim, they may request server staff to extend their claims. After a build is complete, players have the option to submit their build in the build submissions tab on the discord to get a refund on your claim blocks.
