Woodcock MC at a glance

Woodcock MC is a Java Edition Minecraft server focused on long-term survival with a Vanilla feel enhanced by quality-of-life features. Its game modes and tags emphasize a player-driven, ongoing world where survival, bases, and community projects take center stage. The server operates with mcMMO, PvP, SMP elements, and an economy, all within a cross-play-friendly setting that invites collaboration and competition alike.

Players on Woodcock MC are invited to build, trade, and explore within a survival framework that respects the history of the world. The server aims to protect and showcase player-built towns, shops, and landmarks while offering a live world where roads, bridges, and bases become part of a shared narrative. A mechanical companion system adds utility by helping carry items and collect drops, and a land-claiming feature helps players protect homes and projects as they expand.

The venue is rooted in Sweden and is designed for a dedicated, long-term community rather than short-term resets. It runs on a relatively recent minor version (26.2) and is accessible to Java Edition players. Regular backups and anti-cheat protection are part of the stability-focused approach, ensuring a smoother, more reliable experience for builders, traders, and explorers alike.

Joining is simple and direct: woodcockmc.net. Players will find the core experience described here reflected in its emphasis on building, trading, and leaving a personal mark on a living, evolving world. Its emphasis on player-driven growth, events, and features like a live online map underscore a world that evolves with its community. Its Discord and other links are mentioned as coming soon, but the join address remains the single entry point to start your Woodcock MC adventure.

In the server's own words

🌲 A message from Mr. Woodcock 🌲

Welcome, traveler!

I'm Mr. Woodcock, and I'm glad you've found your way here.

Woodcock MC is a place where every player leaves their mark. Some have built peaceful homes, others have founded towns, opened shops, or set off into the wilderness to see what they could find.

Now it's your turn.

You'll probably notice that this world has a story of its own. I won't spoil it for you—some things are better discovered along the way. As you explore, meet other players, and spend time here, you'll slowly uncover more about these lands and the people who've shaped them.

For now, don't worry about any of that.

Grab your supplies, head out into the world, and make yourself at home.

Who knows? Maybe one day, another traveler will stumble across something you built and wonder who came before them.

Good luck... and welcome to Woodcock MC.
