Minecraft SMP Minecraft server

Minecraft SMP is a Java Edition survival server with a focus on long‑term world-building and a city project hosted at spawn. The server emphasizes a no‑crates, no‑donations ethos and invites players to venture into the wilderness to claim land or settle in the city around spawn island. A city roleplay project exists, but players aren’t required to participate, and shops are a common feature in the city area. The server also runs weekly events, adding regular activity beyond normal survival play.

Players on Minecraft SMP can choose a relaxed survival experience or engage with the city project, whether by building, claiming land, or interacting with others in roleplay or shopfronts. The MO̵TD indicates a clear “City Survival Server” identity, and the server’s description highlights permanence and player-driven growth rather than resets or random loot systems. This makes it suitable for players who enjoy collaborative world-building, socializing in a structured city environment, and occasional events.

For communications and ongoing community coordination, the server maintains a Discord and references its website for further information. Joining requires using the Java address and following the server’s join instructions.

Its website hosts the server details and joins flow, while its Discord provides ongoing chat and event announcements. Players should ensure they are on Java Edition and use the correct version listed (26.1.2) when connecting. To start their adventure, players connect to mcsmp.us and then engage with the city project, land claims, and weekly events as they explore a permanent, no‑reset survival world.
