Age of Elysian at a glance

Age of Elysian is a long-running Java Edition Minecraft server offering a mix of economy-driven play and RPG-inspired progression. The server features a blend of Towny, Skyblock, and Survival gameplay, with Slimefun enhancements and mcMMO-style activity to deepen character growth. Its current focus includes dedicated towns, a living economy, and seasonally updated dungeons that reward teamwork and exploration within a large, hand-built spawn world.

Players join as if stepping into an ongoing community project: they manage towns, build shops, undertake quests, and dive into dungeons to hunt for gear, money, and bragging rights. The Slimefun extension provides a large roster of custom items and addons, integrated into Towny, Skyblock, and Creative environments. The Quests system guides newcomers through the new features while veteran players can continue refining their RPG-style progress and gear.

Age of Elysian targets players who enjoy cooperative building, economy-driven ventures, and dungeon-crawling in a non-competitive, mostly PvE setting. It emphasizes a balanced economy, private player shops, and features like private town channels, armor stands, and custom items, all wrapped in a siege-friendly yet non-destructive geopolitical framework. The server is United States-based and runs across multiple platforms designated for Java Edition, with version compatibility around 26.3.

Joining is straightforward: players connect using mc.ageofelysian.com and then follow the on-site guidance to explore the Towny world, the dungeon routes, and the Slimefun-powered add-ons. Players can also learn more through its website and its Discord, which host announcements, support, and community events, while the Dynmap provides a spatial overview of towns and dungeons. Its website is its website and its Discord is its Discord.

Welcome to Age of Elysian, a decade-old server that has been providing something new, something old, and something unique to thousands of players across the world since its inception.

SLIMEFUN We have maintained our own custom fork of Slimefun since 2019. We keep it promptly up-to-date with Minecraft updates as they come, and have already updated it to 26.2. We run custom versions of many of your favorite Slimefun Addons with—just like everything—something new, something old, and something unique. It's nothing like you've seen before, but it's also familiar.

Slimefun is available on Towny, Skyblock, and Creative.

TOWNY Towny is our oldest still-running gamemode (rest in peace Factions) and is tailored around a chill, mostly PvE, a little-bit-RPG-esque playstyle, with some opt-in Geopolitics and Nation-Building in the form of a non-destructive Siege War system. The Towny Spawn World features a large, hand-built custom map with a million things to find that's a pleasure to explore, which brings us to the next section;

DUNGEONS Find, explore, and fight your way through the sprawling custom-built dungeons around the Towny Spawn World! Haul back trinkets, money, powerful weapons, and most importantly, bragging rights—or die trying. Learn the tips and tricks to each dungeon by talking with the NPCs, or go in blind and (figurative) guns blazing. Dare them alone, or gather your party before venturing forth! Seasonally open dungeons with their seasonal custom items and equipment keep things fresh.

AND MORE There's far more than we can fit in a single post (maybe scroll the update logs below for more), so hop in and look and ask around! Our Quests system will guide you through all the new and cool things.

We'll also list some "honorable mentions" here at the end, but the list is far from exhaustive:

Slimefun Creative - Slimefun Skyblock - Minigames - Events - Fishing Competitions - Quests - Chat Translations - Soulbound Items - Player Graves - ArmorStandEditor - Chairs - Private Signs - Brewery - Dungeons - Custom Mobs - Custom Items - Weapon Skills - Dynmap - Siege War - Discord Town Channels - Balanced Economy - Adminshop - Player Shops - No P2W
