AresSMP at a glance

AresSMP is a Java Edition Minecraft server with an expansive, no-holds-barred survival experience. It blends anarchy-style play with a player-driven economy, cross-play between Java and Bedrock, and an SMP framework that emphasizes raiding, trading, alliances, and large-scale projects. The server profile lists game modes and tags that include Anarchy, Cross-play, Economy, SMP, Survival, and Vanilla, all aimed at players who want a chaotic but structured sandbox to shape their own story.

In practice, players spawn into a wilderness around 0,0 with no protected spawn or pre-made homes, and they must survive, compete, and collaborate as they see fit. Features highlighted in the server’s own description include raid bases, hunted prey, team-based collaboration, and a functional, block-built ship ecosystem. An active economy with an Auction House, Buy Orders, and server-driven markets creates incentives to trade, bid, and accumulate wealth as power within the community grows.

AresSMP targets players who want a raw, competitive Minecraft experience that stays close to vanilla roots while pushing the boundaries with custom structures and large-scale player action. To join, players should connect using the address 213.170.135.49:25576 and follow the server’s joining instructions on its website and its Discord for updates and community rules.

In the server's own words

WELCOME TO ARES SMP. THIS IS NOT A SAFE LITTLE SURVIVAL SERVER.

You are thrown into the world with no protected spawn, no personal homes, no /tpa, and nobody coming to save you. Somewhere within the wilderness around 0,0, your story begins.

From there, AresSMP becomes whatever you are ruthless enough to build.

Raid bases. Hunt players. Form alliances. Betray them. Build hidden fortresses. Control trade routes. Put bounties on your enemies. Sail block-built ships across the world. Build farms, economies, armies and eventually something powerful enough to be called a Team.

Teams are not disposable clans. Creating one costs $1,000,000 and unlocks shared infrastructure including a Team Home, 5 Team Warps, shared Bank and shared Ender Chest. The strongest organizations will have to earn their existence.

The economy is built around players. Trade through the Auction House, create and fulfill Buy Orders, send money directly, hunt bounties, or sell selected resources to the server for intentionally low prices. Markets are taxed, money matters, and wealth can become power.

AresSMP stays close to Minecraft while pushing Vanilla further:

◆ Java + Bedrock Crossplay ◆ Vanilla+ Anarchy Survival ◆ PvP, Raiding, Griefing & Stealing ◆ Player-Driven Economy ◆ Auction House & Buy Orders ◆ Player-Funded Bounties ◆ $1,000,000 Player-Created Teams ◆ Shared Team Bank, Home, Warps & Storage ◆ Functional Block-Built Ships ◆ Massive Tectonic Terrain ◆ Quality-of-Life Improvements ◆ No Protected Spawn ◆ No Pay-to-Win

There are very few gameplay restrictions. Fight. Raid. Steal. Trap. Grief. Hunt bases. Dominate markets.

But server-breaking exploits are not anarchy. Dupes, lag machines, crash exploits, packet abuse, bots and attacks on server stability are forbidden.

There will be no admin-built empire waiting for you. No ancient economy controlled by veterans. No established superpower owning the map before you even arrive.

The first kingdoms have not been built yet. The first wars have not been fought yet. The richest players do not exist yet.

That is the opportunity.

ARES SMP BUILD. FIGHT. TRADE. BETRAY. CONQUER.

Your world. Your enemies. Your legacy.
