CivSMP at a glance

CivSMP is a Java Edition survival server built around an RPG-inspired experience set in the world of Aldoria. It features a mix of economy, lifesteal, PvP, roleplay and RPG elements within a semi-vanilla SMP framework, along with Towny and traditional survival gameplay. The server emphasizes a polished, lag-free environment hosted on a dedicated machine and promotes itself as a brand-new survival server with an immersive storyline and RPG depth.

Players engage with diverse systems to shape their play: a land-claim and Guild system, a banks-with-interest economy, a 60-rank custom progression, a large skill tree with 167 branches, and NPC-driven jobs and quests. Guilds can be formed with custom banners, and players can participate in dungeons, factories, deliveries, and player shops to earn and trade resources. The world, Aldoria, includes over 20 NPCs and a narrative thread that guides exploration and interaction.

CivSMP suits players who enjoy RPG progression, player-driven economies, and group play. It speaks to builders and explorers who want a persistent world with land ownership, guild alliances, and dungeon-based challenges, all in a US-based server environment. The server lists its platform as Java Edition and provides access through its join address, indicating long-term worldbuilding and community features.

To join, players connect using the join address play.civsmp.net and then follow the in-game prompts to access the Aldoria world. Its Discord is available for community coordination, and the server’s own messaging emphasizes guilds, quests and life-focused gameplay as core elements of play. Its website and its Discord provide further community and governance resources.
