Lostwave at a glance

Lostwave is a veteran freebuild and survival Minecraft server based in the United States and accessible on Java Edition. It runs the 1.21.1 version and is described as a long-standing free-to-play community where players never pay for items or ranks. The server’s built-in activity centers around a large building world with no plots, supported by a free store available to everyone. There are dedicated areas for build-focused play, as well as vanilla-style SMP experiences for survival-minded players. The server also features an economy component and PvP elements, fitting under tags like Creative, Economy, PvP, and Survival.

In practice, players can explore a huge, mostly unrestricted building environment, work together or compete, and make use of /warp store to obtain resources without charge. Those seeking a more traditional survival experience can head to /warp Survival for vanilla-style gameplay. For builders who want to showcase their skills or wield extra creative tools, there are opportunities to participate in /warp build and pursue the server’s build-related goals. The community emphasizes cooperative play as well as competition, with moderators available to assist as needed.

Lostwave supports Java Edition across platforms, and its community maintains an active Discord presence for coordination and support. Prospective players who want to join should use the official join address to connect to the server, then follow in-game prompts and community channels to get oriented.

In the server's own words

We are a 9 year old Freebuild/Survival minecraft server! Everything is free in the store. No mining, just build...unless you want to mine, of course you can. We don't force you to pay us for items or ranks. Everything is free, you just have to work your way up.

Our main world is a building world with no plots and everything is free at /warp store. There are a few of us on the server who build epic buildings. If you think you have what it takes to build epic buildings, please come join /warp build! If you are looking for a vanilla SMP we have /warp Survival. There is no creative here, just you, some friends and surviving the old fashioned way whilst fighting mobs in the night, or any potential hostile players... Work together or fight to survive in /warp survival!

The moderators are available to give you whatever you need. We are best to be contacted via Discord!
