Vertex at a glance

Vertex is a Java Edition server with cross-play across Java and Bedrock players. It centers on hard survival in a Vanilla-inspired environment, featuring Hunger Games, SMP, Survival, and standard Vanilla gameplay. The server runs on version 26.1.2 and is based in the United States, with an active Discord community that keeps players connected.

Players on Vertex experience a world where diamonds have real currency, bases are protected once claimed by staff, and PvP is enabled in the rest of the world. The map is a fully explored 10,000-block landscape ready for immediate entry, and there is a mature rank system to advance within the community. The server emphasizes building meaningful friendships, a base, and a lasting reputation.

The game is designed for players who want a challenging, self-reliant survival experience rather than hand-holding. With cross-play support and a shared world, it invites Java and Bedrock fans to compete, collaborate, and create together in a persistent environment.

In the server's own words

Tired of servers that hand-hold you through everything? Vertex is different. It's a hard-survival world where diamonds are the only currency (no fake economy plugins), your base is actually protected once staff sets your claim, and PvP is live everywhere else — because survival should mean something. Java and Bedrock players share the same world seamlessly. The 10,000-block map is fully explored and ready to drop into on day one — no lag, no waiting on chunk generation. A real rank system, an active Discord with live chat sync, and a community built to last, not just pass through. This is a server for people who want to actually build something — friendships, a base, a reputation. Come be part of it from the start.
